Wankan Tanka Lodge is one of a limited number of exclusive home sites on the 2,000 acre Sun West Ranch. 1,600 acres of the ranch is common area; it is left wild with a few dirt roads, a stocked trout pond and three miles of Madison River stream bank for guests to enjoy.
There is a $30 a night usage fee. The cabin will accommodate up to four people. Plowed within three miles of the cabin. Accessible by cross-country skis or snowmobile in the winter. Road access in the fall only.
This beautiful new town home includes three bedrooms, two baths, a living room with vaulted ceilings, a loft with sleeper sofa, a gas fireplace, a dining area, a stacked washer and dryer, and a fully furnished kitchen.
The War Bonnet Inn has large clean rooms. We have air conditioning in each room with cable and HBO. We have a dining room, casino, lounge, and a shuttle to the airport and bus depot. Our establishment is equipped to handle up to 400 people for banquets.
Campground is located in the Bitterroot National Forest of southwest Montana at an elevation of 4500 feet. There are 14 campsites, water, garbage pick up and restrooms. Groceries, a food service, laundry facilities, and swimming and fishing access are available within five miles of the site.
