Potosi Campground is located within the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. At an elevation of 6200 feet, the campground encompasses a sprawling 80 acres. The basic facilities including restrooms and drinking water are provided for the 15 designated campsites.

Two person capacity; cost $20. From the lookout you can see spectacular views of the Thompson River drainage. The lookout building is rustic. It was constructed in 1927 and is eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places.
