J.P. Woolies

J.P. Woolies Company opened in the winter of 1984 in Big Sky, MT in a closet-sized store at the base of Lone Peak. When the skiing was good, Jacquie would put down the knitting needles and put up the ""gone skiing"" sign. She quickly learned that it was difficult to earn a living knitting and began to sell other items as well. Over the years we have slowly expanded. Customers from all over the country often tell us they have never seen such a wide collection of unusual items. We take pride in seeking out small companies and buying hand made goods directly from the artists.

We still make our signature hand knit hats, and carry a full selection of clothing, jewelry, eclectic gifts, and art.
