The Summit House

Enjoy incredible views of Glacier National Park, Waterton International Peace Park, Flathead Lake and the Flathead Valley from the 7,000 foot summit. An Environmental Education Center, sponsored by the USFS and the Big Mountain, offers many hands on opportunities for children and adults. The center is located at The Summit House Restaurant. The summer months offer great hiking and biking trails to the Summit amidst the bear grass, wild flowers and huckleberries. The winter offers exceptional skiing on 3,000 acres of varied terrain.
