Broadus is the Gateway and Crossroads of Southeastern Montana. Broadus is located just west of the famous Powder River. The American soldier's yell of 'Powder River, Let'er Buck' was heard world wide. The Powder River has been described as a mile wide and an inch deep, too wet to plow and too thick to drink.
