The Stay Bullet is housed in a 100 year old building with a high false front. The name derives from a bullet lodged in the wall from a gun fight in the late 1800s. The angle of the shot shows it to come from a bar that used to reside where currently the US Post Office - Ovando now sits. The restaurant is a soup and sandwich shop with an Espresso Bar. A small gift shop featuring items from local artist is inside. The shop seats 20 people ranging from 2 seated tables to seating for 8.
Ovando is a small community that sits at the foothills of the Bob Marshall Wilderness and along the Blackfoot River. Ovando is also described by Meriwether Lewis in his journals and an interpretive sign is located in Town Square.
