The Stone School Inn Bed & Breakfast located in Valier, Montana is a three story sandstone elementary school that was originally built in 1911, and has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1985. The Bed and Breakfast has five guest bedrooms each with a private bathroom. The building is furnished with a mix of modern conveniences and antiques. The west rooms view Lake Frances and the Rocky Mountain Front, as does the second story patio. The Stone School Inn neighbors Glacier National Park, which is only an hours drive. The commercial kitchen and dining room makes catering reunions, weddings, or conferences convenient. Lunch and dinner available by reservation. Free VCR/Movies. The day light basement has a recreation room, with pool table, antique pin ball machine and other entertainment. Take a ride to the lake on one of our bicycles built for two.
Lake Frances is well known for its year-round walleye, pike, and perch fishing, and annual fishing derbies. Water sports such as wind surfing, water-skiing and swimming are also popular.
Fly ins are welcome for small planes at our local airport, located just across the street.
